Using Purchased Fonts & Graphics In Silhouette Studio and FREE Cut File

Using Purchased Graphics & Fonts

If you’re like me, you see all of the beautiful font and graphics bundles being offered these days & you love them!!  And like me, you buy them!!   But, after downloading I’m often wondering what to do with them.  Recently, someone said to me — “I would buy these if I knew what to do with them.”   Today I want to share a little Valentine project that I’ve created in Silhouette Studio, using the  Valentines Design Bundle from Design Bundles.  20 beautiful Fonts and over 1000 design elements are included in this bundle — so lots to work with for Valentines Day — and beyond!  (Great for lots of other projects, too!)

This project is a design created using the Dallon font – and graphic from the “Valentine” hand drawn graphic collection.  I love coffee — a lot!! And my day never starts without it — so I thought this coffee cup was perfect!   The Graphic files included in this Bundle are .png format files — This means that they do not come into Silhouette Studio as a cut file, and need to be traced in order to cut.  There are quite a few steps in this process — so I decided the best way to share it with you is in a video —

PNG Coffee Mug from Terri Johnson on Vimeo.

So there you have it!  You can turn PNG files into Cut files from the Valentine’s Design Bundle – or any of the other amazing bundles that are available.   And as a little Valentine’s from me, here is my free Valentine Coffee Mug file for you to download!
