How to Be Sure You Are the First to Know!!

This morning, I had someone message me to ask how she can be sure she gets my FB posts in her Newsfeed — and I get emails regularly, from people telling me they didn’t know about my events — and now they are SOLD OUT!

So, to be sure that you are the “First to Know” – I have a few suggestions!

First – for Facebook:   In addition to “Liking” my Terri Johnson Creates page, you can set it so that it shows up first in your news feed.

Simply Like the Page — then place your mouse over the “Liked” icon, and you will get this drop down menu.  Select “SEE FIRST”  — so that will allow you to See New Posts at the top of your Newsfeed!  Sometimes, quick, last minute tips & info is posted on Facebook that takes a while to get to my blog posts.

Next – Subscribe to my Blog Posts!  If you are reading this — then you are on my Blog.  So, you may already be subscribed – -but if not — simply add your email address to this spot on the blog.  You will have to put in a code (to be sure you are a real person)  – and then you will receive an email, asking you to confirm.  That’s it — you will be subscribed!  And you will be the first to receive the blogs posts — which is where I announce any new events, products, tutorials & more!

  1. I live in Newnan. Do you have a group that meets to talk about the silhouette, or craft together?

  2. Did not know about you until about 2 minutes ago. I plan to attend the next SIL event. But what I need to know now is…..I planning to buy a embroidery machine which do you recommend?

    Creative Hugs,

    • Lola — We would love to have you join us for our next event! Watch for info coming soon!
In terms of embroidery machines — I am partial to Brother & Babylock products. (They are made by the same manufacturer and are basically the same). But, I also think its important to find a reliable dealer that will help you learn, and be able to service your machine! Good luck!
